| The DuPage Juvenile
Officers' Association, one of the largest associations of juvenile
officers
and youth workers in the State of Illinois, will award two
$1,000.00 college scholarships this year. Applicants must be residents of DuPage County planning to seek a career in law enforcement or youth services upon graduation. They should be enrolled at a college or university by September 2006 and majoring in a field related to law enforcement or youth social services. Education majors are not eligible for this scholarship. To apply for the scholarship, applicants should submit an application to the DuPage Juvenile Officers' Association, 125 West Second St., Hinsdale, IL, 60521 by April 9, 2008. The application must be submitted with a letter of recommendation, a personal letter setting forth future educational plans and accomplishments, a current high school transcript, and a copy of the acceptance letter from the college the applicant will be attending in the fall. |
